Our History
Founded in 1980 in the United States of America, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Inc. has helped train more than 16 million people within service-oriented industries, including education, healthcare, behavioural health, long term care, human services, social care, security, transport, corporate, and retail.
In 2023, CPI opened an office in Dubai to collaborate with organisations to maintain a culture of safety, prosperity, and an absence of intolerance in communities via effective and practical de-escalation and conflict prevention training.

It’s a philosophy that is central to everything we do, and traces back to our beginning.
