IACET Accreditation Ensures More Opportunities for YOU Through CPI!

June 1, 2017
Two pairs of hands clasped together.

CPI is pleased to announce that we are now an accredited training provider through the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET)!

For our Certified Instructors, accreditation means that CPI is committed to providing the highest quality of training and training resources. IACET CEUs will currently be available to anyone who attends a Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® program taught by one of CPI’s Global Professional Instructors starting today, June 1, 2017. We will be expanding the availability of these CEU offerings throughout the next year to other specialties offered by CPI, as these programs come up through the annual quality review process. This means that Dementia Capable Care training and other CPI offerings are soon to be included beneath the IACET Accredited Provider umbrella.

Our chief executive officer, Tony Jace, is excited not only about what IACET Accreditation means for CPI, but for our global family of Certified Instructors. “Being credentialed by IACET is an excellent way for CPI to demonstrate our commitment to providing the highest quality training to our customers, based on best practices the world over,” he said. “We thank IACET for their dedication in awarding only those firms that invest in their customers’ excellence. And for you, CPI’s customers, we’re thrilled to prove we will always seek to improve our content, delivery, and certainly your outcomes as a result of adopting CPI’s deep suite of skills and techniques.”

This is particularly exciting for Certified Instructors because IACET Accreditation means that CPI has worked to ensure that the specific needs of our Certified Instructors are fulfilled with the training that they receive. It also makes Continuing Education Units easier to obtain for a broader range of Certified Instructors than ever before! The list of organizations that recognize IACET Accreditation is extensive and covers far more disciplines that require CEUs than CPI was previously able to accommodate. In addition to industry-specific CEUs such as NASW, for example, IACET CEUs will be included on the training certificate that Certified Instructors receive after successfully completing the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® Instructor Certification Program. And very soon, we’ll be adding even more information about IACET Accreditation on our Continuing Education Units page.

In the meantime, we invite you to take advantage of exciting new opportunities in accreditation! And feel free to share any questions in your Instructor Community, email our Continuing Education Administrator, or call us at 888.426.2184.
