Key Features of the Training
CPI Verbal Intervention™ incorporates trauma-informed and person-centred approaches. We recommend this training for professionals who work in environments that require them to manage and respond to escalating behaviour but not restrictive or physical intervention techniques. Participants will engage with seven modules, starting from understanding behaviours to post-crisis assessment.
Recognise & Respond to Crisis Behaviour
Participants learn to recognise signs of distress and gain a broad range of tools to help them intervene early to prevent conflict and escalation. They’ll gain a clear understanding of using the right skills at the right time to effectively de-escalate when conflict arises, so that a behavioural crisis doesn’t occur.
